MINORITIES STUDENTS

The organization is running pre IIT JEE/PMT NEET for Minority Students at SSC Coaching, Vikas Nagar, Lucknow. With aim that students can crack entrance exams of IIT/PMT . The objective of the scheme is to provide coaching of good quality for economically disadvantaged Minority students to enable them to appear in competitive examination and succeed obtaining an appropriate job in public/private sector.

 SSMSS(USTTAD SCHEME) 2016-17

Upgrading the skills and Training in Traditional Arts/Crafts for Development Funded by Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India

The organization conducted USTTAD project in the area of Old Lucknow in which an intensive training on traditional Art Kundan Jwelery was organized. The whole of the training programme was a period of 2 month.  But the training completed in the last of 3^rd month. One TOT was organized in which action plan, transfer of designs and syllabus preparation was completed. 

Total 5 training centers having the different training capacity were set up in the Old Lucknow in which Master craft men -2 and Trainers-15 were deputed for intensive training. To facilitate the trainees, stipend, Tool kits and refreshment provided in the training center A big event on Tool Distribution was organized in the Auditorium of Gandhi Bhawan Near Shahid Smarak Lucknow in which Regional Director FVTRS Bangalore was the chief guest . he distributed  Kundan Jwelery Tool Sets to the participating trainees Total  15 women SHGs were set up during the training programme  and are linked with Nationalized Bank.                

                                     Livelihood Promotion of the marginalized communities through skill training to school dropout youth.

The organization conducted Skill development training programme for youth in Badi village Sidhauli Sitapur .

Total 100 people living under the poor community benefitted with Plumber, Mobile Repairing, and cookery Baking and Beauty culture. The trainees having the Age group of 16 to 35 years were selected .the trade wise qualification were decided in the selection process. Plumber trade was very beneficial for those untrained workers who work to fix water and sanitary pipe lines in the buildings 20 women took interest and joined training programme for repairing and maintenance of mobile cell. The cookery Bakery training was very useful for those female trainees who were engaged in domestic work. Now they have trained and making good meal for their service houses and demanding good amount as wages.

EDP TRAINING

The organization conducted this activity in the Badi village under sidahauli  Block Sitapur  in which all the trainees participated . In the meeting, field officer of the local banks, experts of civil society organizations and local entrepreneurs interacted with the trainees for setting up their trade. The training was innovative and tried to involve them in new sector. Cookery Bakery and Mobile repairing training performed with better response. Plumber training was very favorable for uneducated youth.

                              MINORITY WOMEN LEADERSHIP DEV. TRAINING

Nai Roshni programme is one of the women empowerment programmes of the country. The Ministry of Minortiy Affairs, GOI focuses to those women who live in the minority category and away from basic facilities of the Govt. due to illiteracy, poverty and ignorance. Nai Roshni Programme motivates the women to involve in various social and development activities for their multiple growths; it focuses on following sectors -  Women Rights & Empowerment   Leadership to women, Child Marriage, Dowry, Domestic Violence, Sexual Harassment, Trafficking/Feticide, Life Skills, Law related to Crime, Schemes/programmes for welfare of minority etc. The Training was held 6 hours per day of 25 trainee of each Bath at Barabanki dist. Total 375 women participated in whole of the project. Expert of line department and other experts joined and interacted accordingly. They were distributed a sum of Rs. 300/- through cheque as stipend and the Certificates were also distributed in the end of the programme among them. 

                                                       SOCIAL STUDY ON SHG DEVELOPMENT

The state Institute of Rural development Govt. of U.P. sanctioned this project to study the progress of the SHGs.   Total 150 SHGs from various district have been taken being involved , Bhumi Sudhar Nigam, Rajeev Gandhi Foundation, Swaranjayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojna etc. the work for  data collection of all the SHGs have been collected and sent to SIRD for reporting and documentation. 

                                                          SCHOOL ACTIVITY FOR TOBACCO CONTROL PROGRAMME

Under the initiatives of WHO, the state Govt. has decided to conduct sensitization programme for students studding in upper Primary schools and colleges.  The Dept of Health Govt. of U.P sanctioned 70 schools in Kanpur and Jhansi districts to conduct Training, rally, audio visual shows to sensitize them about the bad effect of Tobacco.

                                                        Nai Roshni  2015-16

It is one of the leading organizations of the state of Uttar Pradesh who is dedicating it’s almost of the services for the welfare of women, living in the difficult circumstances. It focuses on training, Seminar/Conference, Functional Literacy, organization development etc for reflecting strength of the poor in the society. All these activities perform in the masses through technical training and livelihood support. These activities enhance the quality of lives of the women who associate with organization.  The working culture of the organization appreciated some of the Govt agencies and assured for long term association and providing assistance to realize the dream of the organization in to reality.

Detail of Batches

 Rural Electrification Corporation Govt of India – the organization is working with REC under the CSR project from Jan.2014. In this project rural women living in the BPL category have been targeted for intensive training of garments.  There are 200 women beneficiaries working in the Sitapur and Barabanki districts being established Training cum production centers respectively. Under the social activities, Health care, Legal Right, Leadership development etc camps organize to create sensitivity for sake of development of individuals.  At present, M/s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Lucknow is supporting to our both of the production centers and providing them employment through a huge supply of handkerchiefs and other cloth related work. The organization is also taking demand from State level traders for their sustainable livelihood support.   The organization has got this association on the strong recommendation of Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Rishikesh Uttrakhand who is closely associated with organization for last 5 years.

Women SHGs  for livelihood support- organization is running 16 Women SHGs with the help of REC Govt. of India to sustain the livelihood project in the Barabanki and Lucknow districts. They have been linked with Allahabad Bank and Union Bank of India for getting credit facilities. 2 Nos. of Co-operatives are also governing to all the  existing and functional groups and monitor the production and marketing of garment making . They also make arrangement of credit to the groups.

Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Rishikesh  Uttrakhand- is an autonomous Agency of the country. It executes various CRS activities in its target areas. U.P. is one of the target states of the THDC and it is focusing here on women empowerment through technical training and allied activities for sustainable employment. The organization made a long term collaboration with THDC and working in the (urban areas) Old Lucknow ,Nagram,Itaunja,Mahauna , Bargadi, Hazratpur   etc under the district. Total 1200 poor women are working in garment training, Zari and Chikan work, Patch work etc.They provided intensive training up to three years  and developed confidence  to initiate their sustainable livelihood . For sake of it, the organization has established production and marketing out lets in Old Lucknow, Itaunja ,Mahauna and Nagram where these women come  regularly and utilize its infrastructure for sake of their sustainable employment .

Functional Vocational Training and Research Society- It is Foreign Funding Project and its headquarters in india is Bengalore (Karnataka). It is dedicated for development of drop out girls, socially victimized women, and other women living in the difficult circumstances of the society. Mainly it provides skill development training, literacy and organization building for sustainability of their livelihood and standard of living.The organization got association with FVTRS in the year 2011 and spread its activities in barabanki and Lucknow districts and opened training centers in Anwari and Umra villages Block Nindura Barabanki and Behta, Itaunja Mahauna places of Lucknow  district. Total 5 Training centers work continuously from its inception. Total 225 women got training under Garment making, Chikan, Zari appliqué work and beauty culture trades. At present they have been linked with local trade/ service providing agencies for their continuous livelihood.

Women Leadership Development Programme for Minority women-

 In the close association with Ministry of Minority Affairs Govt. of India, the organization conducted Non Residential camps in 5 different places of Lucknow Municipality areas in the month of June 2014 in which 125 women from Muslim community participated continuously for six days. In this camp, Common childhood illness and immunization,Govt. Mechanism, Health and Hygiene, Home Management ,Issues related to women, Leadership to women Life Skills, Schemes/programmes for welfare of minority, Public Distribution system, Waste water sanitation and soiled waste disposal etc were put up for intensive knowledge.

Entreprenuership Development Progamme-

The organization is also providing EDPs to the trained women who completed their trades and ready to start their work. Under this Programe, 2 tainings were organized in the Mahauna and Itaunja nagar Panchayats and total 60 women participated in the 2 batches of training programme.  Awareness on Entrepreneurship development, Health Care including HIV/AIDS and RTIs and Gender sensitization , Trade Laws etc were main focus point In this programme.

Exposure visits-                                                                                                                                                    On 26 June 2014, A Two days Exposure visit was organized in Panwawar village Block – Sursa district-Hardoi in which 185 women participants ( including members of SHGs) from village Badail, Barabanki and Badi village  Sitapur visited there for Study on “ FUNCTIONING OF SHG  AND LIVELHOOD SUPPORT.”In the Ist day of Exposure visit, 85 women trainees of REC project Badail village,Barabanki reached at Zonal office -Rural Electrification corporation Ltd Lucknow for inviting  the REC in the visit. On this occasion, Mr. N.K. Maurya, Regional Manager, REC welcomed the team of the exposure visit who had came from Badail village Barabanki.
