Nai Roshni programme is one of the women empowerment programmes of the country. The Ministry of Minority Affairs, GOI focuses to those women who live in the minority category and away from basic facilities of the Govt. due to illiteracy, poverty and ignorance. Nai Roshni Programme motivates the women to involve in various social and development activities for their multiple growths; it focuses on following sectors - Women Rights & Empowerment Leadership to women, Child Marriage, Dowry, Domestic Violence, Sexual Harassment, Trafficking/Feticide, Life Skills, Law related to Crime, Schemes/programmes for welfare of minority etc. The Training was held 6 hours per day of 25 trainee of each Bath at Barabanki dist. Total 375 women participated in whole of the project. Expert of line department and other experts joined and interacted accordingly. They were distributed a sum of Rs. 300/- through cheque as stipend and the Certificates were also distributed in the end of the programme among them.
